Short answer: professional solar panel cleaning for a typical single-story Tampa Bay home with up to 16 panels costs $199 with SevenfoldFL. Larger systems cost more because pricing is set by panel count, and two-story homes cost a little more because of the extra equipment and time. Three-story homes, complex roofs and commercial arrays are quoted individually.
What sets the price
| Factor | How it affects your price |
|---|---|
| Number of panels | The biggest factor. Prices step up in bands of roughly eight panels, and very large systems move to per-panel pricing. |
| Stories | Two-story homes take more setup and a longer reach, so they cost a little more. Three-story homes are quoted individually. |
| Roof type and layout | Steep, tile or split arrays across several roof faces can take longer; complex roofs are quoted individually. |
| Add-ons | Window cleaning is quoted per home. Bird proofing is quoted in person. Gutters are priced by length. |
| Frequency | Sevenfold Care (two cleanings a year) saves $50 on the year. |

Is solar panel cleaning worth it?
It depends on how dirty the panels are and how big the system is. Panels near the water, under trees or with bird activity lose more to soiling than open inland roofs. The honest way to judge is with your own data: note your monitoring app's daily production for a week before a cleaning and a week after, on days with similar sun. Beyond output, bird droppings left for weeks can etch the glass coating and create hot spots, which is damage a cleaning can't undo later. Our why clean solar panels guide covers the research.
What's included at SevenfoldFL
- Soft-brush cleaning with deionized water that dries spot-free
- No foot traffic on the panels, ever
- Before and after photos
- A written service record noting brackets, hardware and wiring
What about commercial systems?
Commercial arrays are priced per panel so the cost scales fairly with system size, and recurring agreements are available. See commercial solar panel cleaning.
